Job Description:

Smart Codes is seeking a dynamic and analytical Strategy Graduate Trainee/Intern to join our team. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in digital strategy development, market research, and consultancy within a dynamic advertising agency environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced strategy team to support client projects and contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing and business strategies for clients, aligning with their objectives, target audience, and market dynamics.
  2. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend analysis to identify market opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends, informing strategic recommendations and decision-making.
  3. Support the creation of strategic proposals, presentations, and reports for clients, outlining recommended strategies, tactics, and KPIs to achieve business goals.
  4. Analyze data and performance metrics from various sources including digital analytics tools, market research reports, and client data to assess campaign effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account management, creative, media planning, and digital marketing to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives across all aspects of client projects.
  6. Participate in client meetings, workshops, and strategy sessions, presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  7. Assist in the development of thought leadership content, case studies, and whitepapers on industry trends, best practices, and innovative strategies in digital marketing and advertising.
  8. Stay informed about emerging technologies, digital marketing trends, and industry developments, and share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance strategic thinking and innovation.
  9. Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth.
  3. Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret information from various sources to inform strategic decision-making.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and present findings and recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning.
  7. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  8. Passion for digital marketing, strategy, and innovation, with a desire to make an impact in the digital landscape.
  9. Prior internship or work experience in strategy, consulting, market research, or digital marketing is advantageous but not required.
  10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
