Job Description:

Smart Codes is seeking a dynamic and proactive Media and Digital Executive Graduate Trainee/Intern to join our team. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in media planning, digital advertising, and campaign management within a dynamic advertising agency environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced media and digital teams to support client projects and contribute to the development and execution of strategic media and digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms including display advertising, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), and email marketing.
  2. Collaborate with the media planning team to conduct research, analyze data, and identify target audiences, media channels, and advertising opportunities to achieve campaign objectives.
  3. Support the creation and development of media plans, including budget allocation, scheduling, and targeting strategies, to maximize reach, engagement, and ROI for client campaigns.
  4. Monitor campaign performance metrics, including impressions, clicks, conversions, and engagement rates, and provide regular reports and analysis to clients and internal teams.
  5. Assist in the management of digital advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and programmatic advertising platforms.
  6. Coordinate with creative, design, and copywriting teams to develop compelling ad creative, messaging, and content that aligns with campaign objectives and resonates with target audiences.
  7. Conduct competitive analysis and industry research to stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digital media and advertising, and apply new knowledge to campaign strategies.
  8. Assist in the implementation of tracking and measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and marketing automation platforms to track campaign performance and attribution.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account management, creative, and analytics to ensure seamless execution and integration of media and digital initiatives with overall project objectives.
  10. Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  2. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and draw actionable insights to inform media planning and campaign optimization.
  3. Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and programmatic advertising platforms.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning.
  7. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  8. Passion for digital media, advertising, and technology, with a desire to make an impact in the digital landscape.
  9. Prior internship or work experience in media planning, digital advertising, or marketing is advantageous but not required.
  10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
