Job Description:

Smart Codes is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphics Designer Graduate Trainee/Intern to join our team. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in graphic design, digital media, and creative marketing within a dynamic advertising agency environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced design team to support client projects and contribute to the creation of visually compelling digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create high-quality graphic designs for various digital marketing campaigns, advertisements, social media posts, and other promotional materials.
  2. Assist in the development and execution of visual concepts, layouts, and design solutions that align with client objectives, brand guidelines, and project requirements.
  3. Support the production of creative assets including logos, illustrations, infographics, banners, and multimedia content for web and mobile platforms.
  4. Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other tools to design, edit, and manipulate graphics and imagery.
  5. Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate innovative ideas and concepts for client projects and campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account management, digital marketing, and media buying to ensure the seamless integration of design elements into overall project deliverables.
  7. Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitches, and proposals, showcasing design concepts and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  8. Stay informed about design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design and digital media, and apply new knowledge and skills to enhance design projects.
  9. Demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and a keen eye for aesthetics in all design work, maintaining consistency and quality across projects.
  10. Adapt designs and creative assets for different digital platforms and screen sizes, optimizing visual impact and user experience.
  11. Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  2. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  3. Strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects, with a focus on digital media, advertising, or marketing materials.
  4. Excellent design skills, including a solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout composition, and visual hierarchy.
  5. Passion for creativity, innovation, and digital media, with a desire to make an impact through visual storytelling and design.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning.
  8. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
