Job Description:

Smartnology is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development and Communication Graduate Trainee (Intern) to join our team. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and communication within a dynamic digital environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team members to support various business initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of Smartnology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities and researching potential clients.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to promote Smartnology's services and solutions.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and website content.
  5. Assist in planning and organizing events, webinars, and workshops to showcase Smartnology's expertise and capabilities.
  6. Support the management of social media channels and digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  7. Assist in monitoring and analyzing marketing performance metrics and preparing reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  8. Provide administrative support to the business development and marketing teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining databases.
  9. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and networking events to enhance skills and knowledge in business development, marketing, and communication.
  10. Contribute creative ideas and insights to brainstorming sessions and team meetings, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  11. Demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Recent graduates ar to apply.
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  3. Passion for technology and digital innovation, with a keen interest in the digital marketing and business development landscape.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and a positive attitude.
  7. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Prior internship or work experience in business development, marketing, or communications is advantageous but not required.
  10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to grow and succeed in the field of digital marketing and business development.
