Intermediate Cloud Engineer

  • Experience: 2-5 years
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, RDS) and server administration tasks.
    • Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
    • Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure for company projects.
    • Manage and configure pfSense firewall and VPN networks within AWS accounts.
    • Oversee full application stacks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Collaborate with software development teams to maintain network and application security.
    • Implement continuous integration and deployment methodologies for server-based technologies.
    • Configure and utilize monitoring tools to ensure infrastructure and application reliability.
    • Troubleshoot firewall issues and maintain secure cloud infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient cloud services.
  • Requirements:
    • Proficient in designing and building web application environments on AWS (EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc.).
    • Experience with pfSense firewall and VPN configurations.
    • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, and SonarQube in a cloud environment.
    • Strong Linux and/or Windows Server system administration skills.
    • Please share links to your projects and portfolios, showcasing relevant past experience and completed work
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
    • Ability to create and utilize AWS CloudFormation templates.
    • Experience with installing and configuring application servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat).
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools and practices for infrastructure and applications.
